It has been a while. My last post here was a SQL injection script against DVWA in February 2013, written in Python 2 with Mechanize and BeautifulSoup. A lot has changed since then, both in the field and for me, and I've decided it's time to dust this blog off.
Going forward I'll be posting thoughts, ideas, and practical information at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. That includes how AI is changing the way attackers and defenders work, the new security risks that come with deploying AI systems, and hands-on experiments in the same spirit as the old posts on this site: try it in a lab, document what worked and what didn't, and share it.
The older posts will stay up as an archive. Some of the tools and code are dated, but the fundamentals hold up better than you might expect.
As always, I hope this helps others. Feedback and questions are welcome, and I'll answer what I can.
Joseph
